The product
Is hæld absorbent?
No. hæld does not absorb anything. It is everyday underwear designed so the pad you already use has a stable, defined place to sit. If you want absorbency, you want period underwear — that is a different product.
Do I still need a pad?
Yes. hæld is designed to be worn with your own pad, not to replace it.
Which pads work with it?
Winged and non-winged adhesive pads both work. The pad zone is a smooth, defined area so the adhesive has a consistent surface to grip.
Can I use overnight or longer pads?
Longer pads generally sit fine. We are still gathering wear-test data across pad lengths and will publish specifics rather than guess.
Will the wings wrap properly?
The gusset is shaped so wings can fold and sit flat rather than bunching at a narrow seam.
Can I wear it when I'm not on my period?
Yes — that is the point. It is everyday underwear that also works on period days, not a product you keep in a drawer for one week a month.
Does it feel like shapewear?
No. It is structured, not compressive. The intent is a steady hold, not squeezing.
Will the waistband roll?
It is a wide, soft waistband designed to lie flat. Wear-test feedback on this is something we will publish as it comes in.
Is this a medical or back-support product?
No. It is not a medical device and it is not a treatment for back pain. The back panel is a construction choice for a steadier feel, nothing more.
Fit and sizing
How do I choose my size?
Use the size guide on the product page — measure your waist at its narrowest and your hips at the fullest point, then match to the chart.
What if I'm between sizes?
Size down for a firmer, more held feel; size up for less pressure across the stomach.
What if I order the wrong size?
See Returns & exchanges for the current policy before you order — we would rather you check first than assume.
Will you publish real garment measurements?
Yes. The current chart is a standard size reference; measured garment specs will replace it and we will say clearly when that happens.
Care
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold and hang dry.
Can it go in the dryer?
We do not recommend it. Hang drying protects the elastane and the shape of the panels.
What is it made of?

Why is this a pre-order?
The first run is made to order. It means we produce close to real demand instead of guessing and dumping stock.
When will my order ship?
The estimated dispatch window is shown on the product page and at checkout. If it moves, we will email you rather than let you wonder.
Am I charged now or at dispatch?
You are charged when you order — that is what reserves your size in the first run.

What does the hygiene seal mean?
